<p>I knew that if I planned to to shed inches I should try to discover a totally different form of workout that could do something a lot more than cardio and weight training could. I explored many different sorts of training routines, reading and understanding all I could. After testing out possibly eight or nine different types, I eventually settled upon pilates.</p>

Pilates is focused on precise, controlled, appropriate movements as opposed to endless, tiring mind-numbing work outs.Nothing like visiting the gym.After I first joined a good <a title="pilates studio" href="http://www.pilatespassion.com" target="_blank">pilates studio</a>, I&#8217;d already done my research, and so I knew what to expect. I knew that a <a title="pilates workout" href="http://www.pilatespassion.com" target="_blank">pilates workout</a> was nothing like visiting the Gym. Furthermore I recognized it was going to require a couple of months before I saw a genuine difference of the appearance and tone of my body.</p>
<p><strong>Update.</strong></p>
<p>My workout routines to date have been mostly using the <a title="pilates reformer" href="http://www.pilatespassion.com" target="_blank">pilates reformer</a>, and some pilates classes and mat workouts too. I still do cardio 2 or 3 times per week on the advice of my pilates teacher, however rather than spending an hour or so in the gym every other day strength training. I now do pilates three times per week instead.</p>
